CAF CC: Kotei, Asante shine in Simba win

Ghanaian pair of James Kotei and Akwasi Asante were in fantastic form for Simba FC on Tuesday at the Tanzania National Stadium where they defeated Al Ahly by one goal to nothing in Group D of the 2019 CAF Champions League.

Kotei marshaled the Simba midfield and was able to put the brakes on Hossan Ashour and others. He was a delight to watch with his surging runs and ability initiate attacks.

Asante was also splendid on the left rear where his overlapping runs caused problems for the Al Ahly defenders.

Meddie Kagere netted the match winner for Simba after series of missed chances.
