Fire outbreak at Kokomlemle, near City Lights in Accra

There has been a fire outbreak at Kokomlemle near the Kwame Nkrumah Circle around City Lights in Accra on Thursday Afternoon.

Eyewitnesses and Fire Service personnel who were present at the scene and spoke to Adomonline.com could not readily confirm what may have ignited the fire.

An eyewitness who described himself as James and works close to where the fire broke said a family lived in a wooden kiosk on the storey building but were not around at the time of the fire.

The timely intervention by personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service has prevented any fatalities from resulting from the fire outbreak.

Those who witnessed the start of the fire lauded the GNFS for their prompt response in getting to the scene.
