Ebenezer Ofori tastes victory on MLS debut as New York City FC beat La Galaxy

Ebenezer Ofori made his MLS debut on Monday as New York City beat LA Galaxy at home.

He came off the bench to play 20 minutes after replacing Medina.

The Boys in Blue ran out 2-1 victors thanks to first-half goals from Anton Tinnerholm and David Villa.

Jonathan Dos Santos replied on the hour mark but it was not enough to deny City a third Home Opener victory out of four played.

Ofori is on loan from German Bundesliga side Stuttgart.
