Sadick Adams dares Vincent Atinga in a $500 bet

Asante Kotoko striker Sadick ‘Okocha’ Adams has thrown a betting challenge to Hearts of Oak defender, Vincent Atinga for a showdown football match.

Atinga on Monday, was alleged to have said that the highly-rated former Black Starlets striker cannot give him a stiff competition on any day during an interview on Kumasi-based Nhyira FM.

But Adams has accepted the challenge, stating that he will place a cash of $500 as bet for the giant Hearts defender to face him on a one-on-one game. “If truly he [Vincent Atingah] said that I throw him challenge now to face me one on one,” Adams wrote on Facebook as their rivalry continues.

“Defender and a striker on the field…And if he intercepts even a single ball from me I will give him $500.

The pair first clashed in the President’s Cup match at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium last month when Vincent Atinga stamped on the shin of the Asante Kotoko striker in an off the ball incident, which sparked confusion between the two players on the pitch, only for the match officials and players from both sides to intervene.
