Chinese side Tianjin TEDA pay part of Frank Acheampong’s transfer fee

Chinese Soccer League outfit Tianjin TEDA have paid Belgian side R.S.C Anderlecht €3million as part of the €6.5 million fee for the loan deal of Frank Acheampong.

According to a report by Demorgen, the ambitious Chinese side paid the Belgium giants the money on Friday and they are hoping to complete the payment before December when the loan deal expires.

But the club are keen to trigger the €3.5million buy-out clause which was enshrined in the contract after the initial € 6.5 million four-month loan deal fee.

The Ghanaian winger has now been included in the first team following the demotion of Nigerian Brown Ideye to the Team B.

The 23-year-old made his bow for the club last week in their 2-1 loss at Chongqing Lifan. Read Full Story
