Ashanti Regional Security Coordinator attacked

The timely intervention of police saved the new Ashanti Regional Security Coordinator from an attack by a group of stoutly built men believed to be New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters.

The angry supporters had kicked against the appointment of George Agyei and followed up their displeasure by storming the premises of the Regional Coordinating Council.

The Security coordinator was reportedly pulled out from his office in a move to forcefully evict him from office.
