Assistant coach of Heart of Lions, Daniel Nii Adjei, has expressed optimism in the team’s chances of defeating Basake Holy Stars in their next match in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The Kpando-based club has suffered three defeats in their last five matches and has lost back-to-back matches in its last two games.
The recent defeat came on Sunday when Heart of Lions faced off with Gold Stars at the Kpando Sports Stadium.
Speaking in a post-match interview, assistant coach Daniel Nii Adjei assured supporters that the team is determined to return to winning ways in their next outing.
He stressed that the team will work hard in training this weekend to ensure they take all three points from the Week 24 meeting with Holy Stars.
“We are going to prepare and go and face them. We know it’s going to be difficult, but in football everything is possible,” Daniel Nii Adjei said.
The upcoming Ghana Premier League clash between Holy Stars and Heart of Lions will be played on Sunday, March 1.
