Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani insists his outfit is still a work in progress, stressing the team is yet to hit its full stride in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.
The Phobians dropped points against Berekum Chelsea in matchday 23 of the domestic top-flight despite their dominant performance in the match, missing the chance to close the gap on league leaders Medeama S.C. to two points.
The draw now leaves the Phobians third on the standings with 40 points, five adrift of the summit, with questions lingering over their efficiency in attack.
Speaking in an interview, the former Black Stars assistant trainer stressed that the level of his team is about 65-70%, while promising to improve in key arears of the game.
“As a team, we are still not doing some things right,” he said. “If you listen to me week in, week out, regardless of whether we win, draw or lose, I always talk about trying to improve in key moments of the game. The level of my team is around 65 to 70 percent.”
Dramani emphasized that results alone do not define the team’s progress, stressing the importance of consistency, sharper decision-making and better execution during decisive moments in matches.
With the season still unfolding, the former Black Stars assistant coach remains confident that Hearts of Oak will gradually reach their desired level as the players continue to adapt to his philosophy and tactical demands.
