Struggling Ghana Premier League side Hohoe United have fired head coach, Tijani Abdul Rahim Bashiru after five months in-charge.
The former Young Apostles coach led the newcomers into relegation zone after 17 matches- the first half of the season.
Friday’s uninspiring 0-0 draw with regional rivals Heart of Lions drafted his obituary and that informed the management’s decision.
He was tasked to steer the club to safety in their debut season but the results have been far from encouraging.
Bashiru was previously an assistant coach at Heart of Oak and Great Olympics and was once upon a time the head coach at Young Apostles and Legon Cities.
