Ghanaian giants Hearts OF Oak have been boosted by the return of their captain Benjamin Asare ahead of their blockbuster clash against Aduana FC.
The Phobians will travel to face Aduana FC on Sunday, December 21, 2025 in matchday 15 of the Ghana Premier League, to be held at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
The Black Stars first-choice shot stopper succumbed to injury early November and has since not featured for the Phobians, who have been inconsistent in the Ghanaian top-flight.
As the rainbow boys gears up for the high-stake Premier League clash, the enterprising goalkeeper has returned to training, coming as a huge boost for coach Didi Dramani.
Having regained full fitness, the former Great Olympics shot stopper is expected to take over his starting role when they take on the Dormaa-based outfit. This means Solomon Agbasi will be relegated to the bench, following the return of the first choice goalkeeper.
Hearts of Oak will be hoping to maintain their winnning run in the top-flight, having secured a narrow victory over Nations FC in the previous fixture.
Asare has established himself as a key member of Hearts of Oak since his arrival from Great Olympics. This season, the 32-year-old shot stopper has made eight league appearances, keeping five clean sheets.
After 14 matches into the campaign, the Phobians find themselves in fourth position of the league standings, accumulating 24 points.
