Ghanaian-American forward Emmanuel Afriyie Sabbi has won the Western Conference title in the Major League Soccer with Vancouver Whitecaps.
Sabbi starred in the final against San Diego as the Canadians secured an emphatic victory to set a date with Lionel Messi's Inter Miami in the 2025 final.
In an explosive display at the Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, Vancouver netted three times in the first half to record a 3-1 win.
Brace-hero Brian White opened the scoring after just eight minutes before Pablo Sisniega's own-goal handed the visitors a 2 goal lead in 11 minutes.
White added his second at the stroke of half time to stun the surprise package of the season.
However, after the break San Diego pulled one back through Hirving Lozano, but it was enough as the inaugural campaigners suffered a heartbreaking defeat.
Meanwhile, Sabbi's Ghanaian compatriot Manu Duah played full throttle for San Diego FC.
Sabbi, who saw 74 minutes of action, will be expected to start the final against Inter Miami on Saturday December 6, 2025 at the Chase Stadium.
