DR Congo head coach Sebastien Desabre has unveiled his 26-man squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The list features several key players who helped the Leopards reach the playoffs of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Captain Chancel Mbemba leads the group, which also includes Axel Tuanzebe, Noah Sadiki, Fiston Mayele, Meschak Elia and Cedric Bakambu, but injured Yoane Wissa misses out.
Since taking charge, Desabre has emphasised consistency, current form and a balanced team structure. His latest squad reflects that philosophy, combining experienced internationals with emerging talents who have impressed at club level.
The Frenchman believes the group remains well equipped to push for a strong tournament campaign in Morocco, with a familiar core retained from recent competitive fixtures.
DR Congo begin their group stage journey on 23 December against Benin before facing Senegal in a highly anticipated match on 27 December. Their final group fixture will come on 30 December against Botswana.
