Vision FC head coach Nana Kweku Agyemang expressed deep frustration after his side failed to execute their defensive blueprint in the 1-0 defeat to Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.
The loss came through a Mawuli Wayo header in the 41st minute, undoing a week of preparation focused heavily on dealing with set-piece threats.
Agyemang noted that his squad had specifically trained to neutralize such situations, making the concession even more difficult to accept.
He stressed that the manner of the goal reflected a lapse in concentration and structure rather than a lack of effort.
"You realized that we conceded the goal from the far post. The header came from the far post before the second header connected into the goal," he said.
"So, I mean, it's very, very disappointing, especially if it's something that you worked on the whole week. You come into the game and the boys are not able to do it. It's very, very disappointing."
The defeat leaves Vision FC 11th on the league table with 14 points from three wins, five draws, and four losses.
It is their first defeat in five matches, though three of those previous games ended in stalemates.
