Bechem United goalkeeper Benjamin Asiedu has disclosed that their ambition in this season's MTN FA Cup is to reach the final and fight to lift the title.
Nicknamed the Hunters, the Premier League side will kick off their campaign in the FA Cup on Wednesday, November 26, when they take on Aduana FC in Round 64.
Speaking in a pre-match interview, Benjamin Asiedu noted that although Bechem United have not been performing well in the league this season, there is no pressure on the team as they gear up for action in the MTN FA Cup.
He insists that the team is determined to go all the way to win the MTN FA Cup at the end of the season.
“There is no pressure on us. In the history of Bechem United, we have won the trophy before. The fans cherish the trophy, and so this season we want to go far and, if possible, reach the final to fight for the trophy,” Asiedu said.
The goalkeeper added, “Whatever we have done wrong in the previous matches, we are correcting them to ensure we do better in the upcoming games.”
The MTN FA Cup Round 64 encounter between Aduana FC and Bechem United will kick off at 3 pm at Nana Agyemang Badu I Park.
