Royal Air Maroc has announced promotional round-trip fares for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
As an official partner of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the airline is significantly increasing its capacity to accommodate the expected influx of more than half a million fans from across Africa and Europe.
These special fares are part of a broader initiative to make the tournament more accessible to supporters, with offers now available from several major African cities.
Round-trip prices vary by departure city. For instance, flights from Abidjan are priced at approximately 249,000 XOF ($400 USD).
Travelers from Kinshasa can secure tickets for around $650 USD, while flights from Abuja and Lagos are priced at approximately $715 USD.
These fares reflect the airline’s commitment to affordable travel, with plans to double seat capacity on routes from all countries whose teams have qualified for the tournament.
In addition, the airline is expanding services from major European hubs with large African diaspora communities, including Paris, Brussels, Milan, and London.
To simplify the travel process, Royal Air Maroc is collaborating with the tournament’s Local Organizing Committee on the “Yalla” application.
This platform allows fans to obtain a mandatory Fan ID and apply for an e-visa, both required to purchase tickets on the official CAF ticketing site and to enter Morocco.
