Toulouse FC players showed incredible support to Ghana midfielder Abu Francis ahead of their game against Angers SCO.
The Black Stars player suffered a horrific injury during the international break while playing for Ghana against Japan.
The 24-year-old has been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing a successful surgery. He is expected to begin rehabilitation in the coming weeks and will ultimately miss the FIFA World Cup in North America next summer.
Before the match against Angers, the Toulouse players held Francis' jersey, showing solidarity to their teammate.
Meanwhile, Yassin Belkhdim's first half strike secure victory for Angers, who were visiting the Stadium de Toulouse on Sunday.
Francis joined the French topflight returnees in the summer transfer window from Cercle Brugge.
He has already made 8 Ligue 1 appearances for the club and has been a key figure for the Purple and White.
