Aduana Football Club have returned to the summit of the Ghana Premier League standings following an impressive win against Berekum Chelsea during Week 11.
The Dormaa-based club on Sunday hosted Berekum Chelsea at Nana Agyemang Badu I Park. In a thrilling contest that ensued between the two teams, Aduana FC secured all three points after a 3-1 triumph over the Blues.
The win has propelled Aduana FC to leapfrog Medeama SC to go top of the league table. Medeama SC are now third in the league standings after dropping two crucial points in their goalless stalemate against Bechem United at TnA Stadium on Saturday.
Heart of Lions in second position and Asante Kotoko sitting fourth complete the top four.
Defending champions Bibiani Gold Stars follow in fifth position with 19 points, just four behind the league leaders on 23 points.
Bechem United, Holy Stars, and Eleven Wonders are in the relegation zone as they continue to struggle for wins in the division.
All 18 participating clubs will hope to bag three points from the next round of matches in Week 12 to improve their positions in the Ghana Premier League table.
