Bernard Somuah continued his fine form with Celta Vigo's reserve team after scoring his third goal of the season to help them secure a late 2-0 win over Ponferradina in Spain's Primeira Federacion.
The Ghanaian forward, currently on loan from Asante Kotoko, sealed victory for Celta Fortuna with a sensational strike in the 89th minute.
Following a drab and barren first half, the game exploded to life in the second half with both teams creating chances.
Hugo Gonzalez of Fortuna came close early after the break before Ponferradina tested Celta's goalkeeper, Coke, who made two fine saves to deny the vistors.
With 15 minutes remaining, Celta Fortuna broke the deadlock through Oscar Marcos, who fired home from a ferocious shot.
Somuah doubled the advantage with a minute left as Celta extended their unbeaten run at the Abanca Balaidos.
The victory sends Celta's reserve side to second in Group A of the Primeira Federacion, just four points behind leaders Tenerife.
