Aduana FC returned to top of the table after a thrilling 3-1 victory over Berekum Chelsea on matchday 11 of the Ghana Premier League.
Samuel Owusu Ansah, Hensen Anponsa and Emmanuel Marfo were all on target for the Fire Boys as they extended their unbeaten run to six matches.
The hosts got off to a flying start after Owusu Ansah broke the deadlock with a fine finish in the sixth minute.
Chelsea came close to getting an equalizer moments later but goalkeeper Osei Prince denied the visitors.
Marfo had the best opportunity of the half to double Aduana’s advantage but the forward missed while Chelsea also asked questions on the other hand.
Goal scorer Owusu Ansah had to be replaced after the break although it was unclear if he had picked a knock.
Anponsah doubled Aduana’s lead after the break but his celebration was cut short after Chelsea pulled one back immediately. Abubakari Seidu finished off a brilliant move by the Blues.
Aduana grew in confidence and came close from a set piece with ten minutes remaining.
Marfo, who had missed two clear chances in the first half, added his name to the scoresheet with a strike in the 83rd minute.
