Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum, beleives the targets of playing against Japan and South Korea have been achieved despite defeats.
As part of Black Stars' preparations for the upcoming World Cup next summer, the team faced Japan in a Kirin Cup last Friday at the Toyota Cup, a game the Ghana lost 2-0.
In the final game against South Korea at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, the West African country lost 1-0 and ended the November window without a win.
Reflecting on the performance of the team, Asante Twum beleives the objectives have been met despite the defeats.
"We had to deal with injuries, and we lost against Japan and South Korea, but the purpose for which these friendlies were played has been achieved," he told Asempa FM.
The Black Stars will be reassembled in March next year to continue their preparation. Otto Addo and his charges will learn their group opponents for the World Cup on December 5.
