Ghana striker Antoine Semenyo has a £65m release clause in his contract ahead of the January transfer window.
The clause will be activated withing the first two weeks of January as several clubs including English champions prepare to make a move for the red hot striker.
Bournemouth seem to be preparing for life after their talismanic forward following huge interest from top clubs in England.
He was on the radar of Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City in the summer transfer window but opted to extend his contract with the Cherries, with his new deal running till June 2030.
The Black Stars forward has had an outstanding start to the season, contributing one-third of Bournemouth's goals this season. He has scored six goals and delivered three assists in 11 Premier League games.
Meanwhile, Liverpool see the 25-year-old as the ideal replacement for AFCON-bound Mohamed Salah.
Additionally, Richard Hughes, who signed Semenyo for Bournemouth during his time as Sporting Director at the club now works with the Reds. Hughes could play a huge role in Liverpool landing the Ghana international in January.
