Viktoria Plzen forward Prince Adu Kwabena has set sights on making the Black Stars squad for the upcoming 2026 World Cup tournament to be staged in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
The former Bechem United star made his debut for the West African football heavyweights last Friday, coming on as a second half substitute in 2-0 defeat to Japan at the Toyota Stadium.
The exciting young attacker was introduced in the 56th minute, replacing Antoine Semenyo, who captained the side on the day.
As the Black Stars gear up for the global showpiece next year, the 22-year-old attacker has vowed to fight for a place in the Black Stars squad.
“From now till the commencement of the World Cup, I will work very hard and prove my worth to the coach. I need justify my call up into the national team. I’m working tirelessly to achieve my dream of representing Ghana at the World Cup” he told Ghana FA’s media.
The former Ghana Premier League star has been outstanding in the current campaign, racking up five goals in 14 appearances in the Czech Republic top-flight.
Adu Kwabena will be hoping to maintain his form throughout the campaign in an attempt to secure a spot for the upcoming global showpiece to be staged in the North America.
