English-Ghanaian musician Fuse ODG, known in real life as Richard Nana Abiona, has been named in a star-studded list to perform at the 2025 CAF Awards.
The multiple award-winning singer becomes the singer Ghanaian since Shatta Wale in 2015 to perform at the continent's biggest sports award show.
Fuse ODG will join legendary Congolese musician Awilo Longomba and fast-rising Moroccan singer Douaa Lahyaoui to light up the ceremony in Rabat. The event will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 18:00 GMT.
The British-Ghanaian singer is famous for leading the Azonto era before switching to the now popular Afrobeats, with hit records like Antenna and Dangerous Love. He music catalogue also includes features global icons Wyclef Jean and Ed Sheeran.
Meanwhile, Ghana grabbed a few nominations at the 2025 CAF Awards, with the Black Queens in contention for the Women's Team of the Year award while their coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren competes for the Women's Coach of the Year.
Morocco's Achraf Hakimi leads the race for the top award after his historic treble-winning season with French giants Paris Saint Germain.
