Basake Holy Stars and Vision FC shared the spoils in a lively 2-2 draw on Sunday afternoon, a result that offered drama from start to finish at the AAK II Arena.
Holy Stars made a blistering start, taking the lead inside two minutes through Prince Tweneboah. Vision responded strongly and drew level in the 15th minute when Abdul Sumaila finished off a well-worked move to make it 1-1.
The second half remained evenly contested, with both sides pushing for control. Vision looked set to snatch all three points after taking the lead, only for Holy Stars to fight back once again. This time, Bismark Teye stepped up in added time, scoring in the 90+6 minute to rescue a valuable point for the home side.
The draw keeps Holy Stars in the bottom three as their struggle for consistency continues. Vision, however, extend their unbeaten run to three matches and continue to build momentum in the mid-table battle.
Holy Stars face Karela United next in Tamale while Vision will welcome Heart of Lions.
