Berekum Chelsea returned to winning ways in the Ghana Premier League after defeating Nations FC 2-1 at the Golden City Park on Sunday.
The Blues, who have been under pressure after just two wins in nine matches, scored in either half of the game to ensure they collected all three points.
Just before half-time, Faisal Shaibu opened the scoring before Marvin Owusu doubled the advantage after the break.
However, Nations FC left it late to pull one back through Samuel Tetteh.
The Susubiribies started the game brightly and should have opened the scoring early in the match, but wasted most of their chances.
Following waves and waves of attack, the deadlock was broken through Shaibu, who made no mistake as he found the back of the net.
After the break, Nations FC regrouped and were determined for an equaliser, with their defenders joining the attack when they moved forward.
Chelsea, who were resolute at the back took advantage to double their lead in the 66th minute through Owusu.
With the Blues two goals up, they sat back to protect their advantage, but a lapse of concentration late in the match saw Tetteh strike in the 93rd minute.
