Tottenham Hotspur cruised to a convincing 4-0 victory over Copenhagen in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night, but the win came without star winger Mohammed Kudus.
The Ghanaian forward missed the tie after picking up a knock in training, forcing him to sit out as Spurs delivered one of their best performances of the season. Micky van de Ven opened the scoring with a remarkable solo goal before Wilson Odobert, Joao Palhinha, and Brennan Johnson added further strikes to complete a dominant display in North London.
Lovely lil catch up with Kudus. He’ll be fine for the weekend. pic.twitter.com/9k2ICA4TWL

Van de Ven’s goal drew comparisons to Kudus’ trademark runs, underlining the energy and creativity Spurs have displayed under Thomas Frank this season. Johnson replaced Kudus on the right flank, finding the net but later receiving a red card.
Despite the comfortable win, Spurs remain hopeful of Kudus’ quick recovery ahead of their next Premier League fixture against Manchester United. His absence was felt, but the team’s convincing performance provided reassurance of their attacking depth as they continue their pursuit of domestic and European success.
