Van de Ven’s goal drew comparisons to Kudus’ trademark runs, underlining the energy and creativity Spurs have displayed under Thomas Frank this season. Johnson replaced Kudus on the right flank, finding the net but later receiving a red card.
Despite the comfortable win, Spurs remain hopeful of Kudus’ quick recovery ahead of their next Premier League fixture against Manchester United.
