Bechem United head coach Desmond-Issah Botchway has vowed to make the team’s home ground a fortress in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The Hunters have struggled to compete in the Ghanaian top-flight league since the ongoing campaign commenced.
Seven games into the season, the team has just one win, having drawn twice and lost the other four matches.
Amid the team’s struggles, the home record has been good. Bechem United’s only win of the season came at home against Vision FC, with the two other home matches ending in draws.
For coach Desmond-Issah Botchway, the plan is to remain strong at home and work on improving their performances away from home.
“We will make sure we will not lose any match here [Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park] and we will make sure we don’t concede any goal here,” the coach said in an interview with Bechem United TV.
He continued, “We have disappointed our fans [this season], but we are here to make them happy. We want to bring back their happiness by winning this upcoming match on Friday.”
Bechem United will host Nations FC on Friday, October 31, in their Week 8 fixture of the season.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
