Danish-Ghanaian midfielder Noah Nartey delivered a fine assist to help Brøndby IF secure a convincing 4â1 win over Odense Boldklub in the Danish Superligaen on Monday evening at Nature Energy Park.
Nartey, who started and lasted the full 90 minutes, impressed fans with his composed play and creativity. His precise pass in the 17th minute found Benjamin Tahirovic, who calmly slotted home to open the scoring for the visitors.
Brøndby continued their dominance as Nicolai Vallys doubled the lead in the 31st minute before Marko Divkovic made it three just before halftime. Despite a red card to Daniel Wass in the 76th minute, the visitors kept their momentum, with Filip Bundgaard adding a fourth in the 80th minute.
OB managed a late consolation through James Gomez deep into stoppage time, but it was too little, too late.
Brøndby’s 4â1 triumph keeps them in strong form ahead of their DBU Pokalen clash against Nordsjælland on October 30.
