The Ghana Football Association’s Competitions Department has announced the postponement of all matches involving Na God FC for the next two weeks.
The affected fixtures include their MTN FA Cup preliminary round tie against True Democracy and their Access Bank Division One League Matchday 5 encounter with Great Ambition FC.
This decision follows Na God FC’s involvement in a road accident at Aboasa on Sunday, October 19, 2025, while returning from a Division One League match against Home Stars in Ho.
According to the GFA, the postponement is intended to allow the club’s players, technical staff, and management adequate time to recover physically and emotionally before resuming competitive action.
“Our thoughts are with the players, management, and technical staff of Na God FC during this challenging time,” the GFA said in a statement.
Na God FC’s team bus was struck from behind by a trailer, causing it to veer off the road into a coconut plantation. While no fatalities were recorded, several players and officials sustained injuries and are receiving treatment.
