Berekum Chelsea head coach Samuel Boadu has lamented his team’s wastefulness in front of goal after their 2-0 home defeat to Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians secured victory at the Golden City Park on Sunday through goals from Hamza Issah and Muwuli Wayo.
The loss leaves Boadu’s side in the relegation zone with only four points from six games in the 2025/26 campaign.
“It was really bad,” Boadu admitted after the game.
“We created a lot of chances and squandered them. During the second half, it was quite unfortunate â the corner kicks that hit the bar and entered the pole.”
Boadu’s frustration was evident as his side struggled to convert their dominance into goals, while Hearts capitalised on their limited opportunities to seal the result.
The coach will now look to rally his players as they prepare for a crucial midweek fixture against Bibiani GoldStars before facing Young Apostles over the weekend.
