Reflo Ghana Limited has partnered with the Ghana Football Association to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month with an educational session for young female athletes at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
The Chief Executive Officer of Reflo Ghana Limited, Rebecca Osam, led the session, teaching the players how to conduct self-breast examinations and stressing the importance of regular checks and proper hygiene during menstruation. She urged the young athletes to stay disciplined and excel in their football careers, saying, “I am a strong advocate for women’s empowerment and proud to be among young girls passionate about football.”
Rebecca Osam further encouraged the players to take the lessons seriously, noting that early detection of breast cancer saves lives. She also highlighted the need for menstrual hygiene, acknowledging the challenges female players face during their periods.
To support the athletes, Reflo Ghana Limited donated quality sanitary pads to the U15 Elite Girls at the centre. The company is a leading producer of sanitary pads and baby diapers, dedicated to providing reliable and high-quality products for its customers.
