
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has named the match officials for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Morocco 2026 qualifier between Ghana and Egypt, set for Wednesday, October 23, 2025, at the Ismailia-Suez Canal Stadium.
South African referee Akhona Zennith Makalima will take charge of the encounter, assisted by compatriot Nandipha Menze as Assistant Referee I and Mphtaso Mphtaso Mamete of Malawi as Assistant Referee II. Fellow Malawian Eness M. Gumbo will serve as the Fourth Official.
The match will be overseen by Teresa Ouko Calleb from Kenya as Match Commissioner, with Alice Damaris Wangari Kimani, also from Kenya, appointed as Referee Assessor.
Kickoff is scheduled for 19:00 local time, with both nations aiming to gain an early advantage in the first-leg qualifier on the road to the 2026 WAFCON in Morocco.
