The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed the dates and venues for the Black Stars’ final two fixtures in the African qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana will face the Central African Republic on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the Stade El Abdi in El Jadida, Morocco. Kick-off is scheduled for 16:00 GMT. The Black Stars will then wrap up their qualifying campaign on home soil against Comoros at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 12, 2025.
Otto Addo’s side currently lead Group I with 19 points from eight matches, recording six wins, one draw, and a single defeat. Their only loss came against Comoros, who will now visit Accra in what promises to be a crucial encounter.
The campaign has seen standout performances, including back-to-back wins against Mali, Jordan Ayew’s hat-trick in a thrilling 4-3 win over the Central African Republic in Kumasi, and a 5-0 victory against Chad in Accra. Ghana also earned vital away points, with a 3-0 victory over Madagascar underlining their strong form.
Victory in the upcoming fixtures would secure Ghana’s place at the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, their fifth appearance on the global stage.
