Former Medeama Sporting Club talisman, Kwasi Donsu, was on target for Tarxien Rainbows FC on Tuesday night in their 3-1 defeat at home to Hibernians FC in the Maltese Premier League.
The midfielder started the Round 6 fixture for his team and lasted the entire duration of the contest at Tony Bezzina Stadium.
On the matchday, Hibernians FC dominated the encounter, scoring in the 17th minute through Cleiton to take the lead.
In injury time of the first half, the visitors equalised again, this time thanks to a strike from Lucas Villela to double their lead.
Pegged behind at recess, Tarxien Rainbows FC started the second half strongly with Ghana’s Kwasi Donsu scoring in the 47th minute to halve the deficit.
Unfortunately, for the host, the team could not capitalise on the early second-half goal and conceded a third goal in the 89th minute when Lucas Villella grabbed his second of the night to complete a brace.
Although Tarxien Rainbows FC lost 3-1, Kwasi Donsu impressed with his performance.
This season, the 29-year-old midfielder has scored two goals after making five appearances in the Maltese Premier League.
