
President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, has donated to the final funeral rites of the late Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III, on Thursday.
At the solemn event in Kumasi, Okraku presented GH?50,000, bottles of schnapps, and assorted drinks to support the ceremony, which has drawn dignitaries, traditional leaders, and well-wishers from across the country. His contribution underscores the GFA’s respect for the Ashanti Kingdom and its cultural heritage.
The late Asantehemaa, who passed away earlier this year, played a key role in the Ashanti traditional setup, and her funeral is being observed with customary grandeur.
