Asante Kotoko welfare officer and former skipper Amos Frimpong has called on the players to meet Sunday’s CAF Confederation Cup clash against Kwara United with calm courage and belief.
Kotoko begin their campaign at the Accra Sports Stadium, and Frimpong knows the weight of expectation that comes with such a stage. He reminded the team that pressure is a natural part of football and should not hold them back.
"The advice I will give you concerning Sunday in the Confederation game we will be playing against Kwara moment like this is a difficult moment. You been the first time to play it is normal thing in football no matter what there will be a little pressure," as aired by Peace FM.
"But what I will tell you the team is that you have to go in with a lot of confidence because it is an international stage and when you play it adds value to your name. And don't forget that we have million of supporters too with the African competitions they are always watching we have to go in with confidence and be well determined that no matter how the day will be we will can qualify to the next stage,"
