Ghanaian teenager Nana Kwame Boakye has completed his move to Norwegian side SK Brann.
The 19-year-old centre-back has signed a long-term contract with the Eliteserien outfit until 2029 after impressing with his performances in Moldova, where he played for top-flight club FC Sheriff Tiraspol.
According to sources, SK Brann paid a sum of 1 million Euros to secure the services of the talented teenager.
Boakye was a key figure for Sheriff last season, making 34 appearances across all competitions as the club dominated domestically and competed in Europe. He earned a spot in the team of the season.
His composure, aerial strength and consistency at the back quickly established him as one of Sheriff’s most dependable players.
The Ghana U20 defender has already carried that form into the 2025-26 campaign, featuring six times in UEFA Europa League and Conference League qualifiers while also playing eight matches in the Moldovan league.
His rise has not gone unnoticed, with Brann moving swiftly to secure his services to bolster their defensive options.
The Norwegian club view Boakye as a player with significant potential who can develop further in a more competitive league.
