Mohammed Kudus and Thomas Partey will square off in this season's UEFA Champions League after Tottenham Hotspur paired Villareal in the draw held on Thursday in Monaco.
Both players who joined their respective clubs in the summer transfer window will renew their club rivalry when Villareal travel to London to face the Europa League winners. Kudus and Partey have had interesting encounters in the past when Partey played for Arsenal in England.
While the two Ghana teammates relish the upcoming game, Spurs will also face Borussia Dortmund, Slavia Prague and FC Copenhagen at home.
The English club will travel to France to face European champions Paris Saint Germain and draw hosts AS Monoca. Other teams in Spurs' lot are Bodo/Glimt and Eintracht Frankfurt.
Meanwhile, Partey's Villarreal will engage former winners Manchester City and Ajax at home with Juventus and Copenhagen all visiting.
The Yellow Submarines will travel to Germany to face Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen and will also be on the road for the match against Pafos.
Both Partey and Kudus are enjoying good starts to their season with Villarreal and Spurs respectively.
The duo have also been included in the Black Stars squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali next month.
