Ghana international Ibrahim Sadiq scored twice on Thursday evening, leading AZ Alkmaar to a 4-1 win against Levski Sofia in the Europa Conference League.
The attacker has been in impressive goal-scoring form in the last three games for the Dutch outfit and showed once again today why he has been a key man for the side.
In the game against Leski Sofia today, Sadiq opened the scoring for AZ Alkmaar with an early goal in the 3rd minute.
Three minutes later, Mexx Meerdink also equalised after he was assisted by Mees de Wit to double the lead for the Dutch side.
Before halftime, Ibrahim Sadiq added a second to complete a sensational brace on the evening.
While Levski Sofia would manage to pull one back just a minute into the second half when Everton Bala scored, AZ sealed the big win with a fourth goal in the 86th minute when Lequincio Zeefuik found the back of the net.
With this win, AZ Alkmaar have booked their place in the group stage of the Europa Conference League with a 6-1 aggregate win.
