Former Ghana captain John Mensah has urged the Black Stars to stay united ahead of their crucial World Cup qualifiers.
He believes the current squad has shown strong promise and only needs a few additions to reach its goals.
“This is the team they are maintaining for them to stay for the national team but I believe if they keep on and a little changes I think they can also be together and work hard for the nation. At the end you can see that they can achieve the trophy for the nation so I think they should maintain them," he told Peace FM.
"Sometimes the coach can see some of the players performing well for their clubs so any coach can call up any other player to come and join. But the only thing is that they should maintain what they have and little that they brought in I think it can be better for them,”
Ghana currently tops Group I with 15 points after five wins in six games. The Black Stars play Chad in N’Djamena on September 4 before hosting Mali in Accra four days later.
