
Management Committee member of the Black Stars, Dr Richard Nsenkyire, has cautioned the team to avoid complacency ahead of their games against Chad and Mali.
The senior national team will regroup for their Matchday 7 and 8 games of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers scheduled for next month.
The Black Stars, who currently sit at the top of Group I with 15 points, will hope to solidify their position at the top ahead of the upcoming games.
However, ahead of the games, Dr Nsenkyire has cautioned the team to avoid complacency and approach the games with determination.
"The team must avoid complacency because anything can happen in football, and for the supporters, we are counting on you," he told Asempa FM.
Ghana will begin their September fixtures away to Chad at the Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno on Thursday, September 4, before hosting Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, September 8.
The Black Stars are expected to open camp in Accra on Monday, September 1.
