Walid Neymar Fuseini says joining Asante Kotoko marks the fulfilment of a lifelong dream, pointing to the club’s rich history and status.
The 25-year-old midfielder sealed a three-year deal with the Porcupine Warriors after passing his medical earlier this week. He arrives as a free agent following the collapse of his former club, Nsoatreman FC.
A versatile player, Fuseini can dictate play from midfield, push further forward, or slot in effectively on the right flank. Speaking to Kotoko’s media team, he could not hide his excitement.
“This is the moment I’ve been waiting for. Playing for a club of Kotoko’s stature is a dream come true, and I believe my qualities can make a real impact here,” he said.
Fuseini brings with him Premier League experience, with 81 appearances and four outings in the CAF Confederation Cup. He started his professional career with Bolga All Stars, where his technical ability and dynamism earned him recognition as a rising talent. Now, he steps into his biggest challenge yet with the Reds.
