
Talented Ghanaian midfielder Prince Afriyie has shared his excitement after sealing a move to Greek side PAOK Saloniki.
The 19-year-old signed a one-year deal with the option of a further 12 months to join the club on loan from Maltese outfit Mosta FC.
Afriyie will spent time with the reserve side before he is gradually integrated into the first team of the former Greek champions.
"I’m absolutely thrilled and deeply grateful to be joining PAOK! This is a dream come true, and I want to thank everyone who played a part in making this happen," he posted on Instagram.
"From the coaches and management who showed faith in me, to my family, friends, and mentors who supported me every step of the way - I owe you all so much. I’m incredibly excited about this new chapter and can’t wait to give my absolute best on the field, contribute to the team’s success, and make the fans proud. Let’s go!"
The former PAC Academy player is currently with the B team in Volakas preparing ahead of the new season.
"PAOK announces the loan of Ghanaian Prince Afriyie from Mosta FC in Malta. The midfielder, born in 2006, will immediately "integrate" into the PAOK B squad, which is in Volakas for its main preparation phase. Afriyie signed for one year, with an option to buy. Last season, he recorded 28 appearances, three goals and four assists with Mosta FC," wrote PAOK on their official website.
