Asante Kotoko communications director Sarfo Duku has hinted that the club could still bring in fresh faces before the new season begins.
He explained that injuries during preseason are likely to push the team into the transfer market, especially with a busy campaign ahead.
The Porcupine Warriors have already been hit with setbacks. Last week, the club confirmed that Peter Amidu and Elvis Kyei Baffour will both be out for six weeks. The timing is far from ideal, with Kotoko preparing for the GHALCA Top Four competition, which serves as a curtain-raiser to the Ghana Premier League.
"You will say you are done but that will not be the case every day, and its problems you will think you have completed your squad the next morning then injury comes. The players you thought will be fit because of this they will be staying at home for some time when this happens like that and there is a chance you have to get a replacement," as aired by Happy FM
"For now I will say until there is no chance for signing anything can happen. We are mindful of the competitions in front of us if I tell we are done I will be lying to you. If you see players getting into the squad you shouldn't be surprised injuries has be a properly for us," he added.
