
Salis Abdul Samed’s football journey has taken another exciting turn as the Ghanaian midfielder completes his move to French club OGC Nice.
Known for his energy, vision, and work rate, the 25-year-old returns to Ligue 1 where he first made his mark.
Samed is no stranger to French football fans. He first impressed at Clermont from 2019 to 2022 before reaching new heights with RC Lens between 2022 and 2024 under coach Franck Haise. His tireless performances and ability to link play made him one of the league’s standout midfielders.
Last season, he stepped into English football, joining Sunderland on loan. Despite injuries, he helped the Black Cats secure promotion to the Premier League. The former Clermont Foot midfielder made eleven appearances for the English side. The experience added another layer to his game, sharpening his leadership and composure under pressure.
Salis Abdul Samed will likely play his first game for OGC Nice on August 16th when Le Gym takes on Toulouse at the Allianz Riviera.
