Serie C side US Pergolettese have completed the loan signing of Italian-born Ghanaian defender Mike Aidoo from Serie A giants Inter Milan for the 2025/26 season.
The 20-year-old full-back, who was born in Bussolengo to Ghanaian parents, came through the youth ranks of Chievo Verona before joining Inter in 2021. He progressed steadily through the U17, U18, and U19 teams, eventually making 55 appearances and scoring once for the Primavera side over two seasons.
Aidoo also featured in eight UEFA Youth League matches and made his debut in the Coppa Italia with Inter’s first team. His performances earned him a long-term deal earlier this year, keeping him at the San Siro until 2027.
In a statement, Pergolettese described him as a player with strong potential: “US PERGOLETTESE 1932 is pleased to announce the temporary arrival of full-back Mike Aidoo from Inter.”
Aidoo has represented Italy at U17 level but remains eligible to play for Ghana. He is regarded as one of the most promising young defenders in European football.
