Director of Communications for Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo has insisted that the Phobians will not embark on wholesale signings in the current transfer window.
The Phobians has completed the signing of four players this summer following the arrival of Baba Adamu, Ali Mohammed, Prince Kwabena Owusu and Frank Duku.
However, Opare Addo has affirmed the club will not recruit too many players in the current window, saying his outfit has an already existed quality squad.
“We are not done with business in the transfer market, but we will not embark on mass recruitment. We’ve added four players to the already existed quality players. We will only add few players to the team” he said.
The Phobians enjoyed a fairly good campaign during the 2024/25 Ghanaian football season. Despite missing out on a trophy, the team’s top-four finish in the Ghana Premier League was an improvement from the previous campaign, where the team almost suffered relegation.
After the improvement, Hearts of Oak are now aiming to win the Ghana Premier League in the 2025/26 season under the new coach.
The 2025/26 Ghana Premier League will kick off on the weekend of September 12, with the Phobians set to take on Hohoe United in league opener.
