Former Hearts of Oak defender, William Dankyi has shared his excitement after sealing a deal to join Ghanaian giants Aduana Football Club.
Dankyi signed a two-year contract to join the Ogya Boys after ending his stay with Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani Gold Stars.
The talented left-back was on the verge of joining Tanzanian outfit Tabora United when Aduana showed interest, forcing him to make a decision to stay in Ghana.
"New chapter, same God, same vibes. Let's go Aduana FC," he posted on social media.
His arrival is a huge boost for the two-time Premier League winners as they build a team capable of competing and potentially winning the league.
Dankyi also arrives with a gulf of experience, having won the Ghana Premier League twice and the FA Cup two times.
"Welcome to the Fire Den! Aduana FC is excited to announce the signing of dynamic left-back William Dankyi from Bibiani GoldStars SC! He joins the Fire Boys on a two-year contract, with an option to extend for one more season," posted Aduana, confirming his signing.
