Ghanaian forward Felix Afena-Gyan made his first appearance for Cremonese since January 2024, playing a key role in their 3-0 pre-season win over Aurora Pro Patria on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old, who recently returned from a productive loan spell at Juventus Next Gen (U23), impressed on his comeback by helping set up the third goal of the match. Afena-Gyan’s sharp movement and intelligent link-up play were on full display as Cremonese wrapped up their pre-season in style.
During his loan stint with Juventus Next Gen, Afena-Gyan was involved in 10 goals across 30 appearances, showing maturity and growth in his attacking game. His return to Cremonese adds further depth and energy to the side’s frontline ahead of their return to Serie A.
Afena-Gyan is currently in full training with Cremonese as they finalize preparations for the 2025/26 top-flight campaign.
With his pace, versatility, and renewed confidence, the Ghana international will be hoping to establish himself as a key figure for the club this season â and potentially catch the attention of the Black Stars technical team once again.
