Accra Hearts of Oak have concluded a four-day intensive training programme at the military combat school in Teshie, designed to strengthen the team’s physical and mental fortitude ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The exercise, supervised by military personnel and initiated by the club’s technical team, focused on instilling resilience, discipline, and endurance in the squad.
Players were subjected to a series of physically demanding drills, receiving close instruction from seasoned trainers at the facility.
The military officers expressed satisfaction with the players’ commitment and work ethic throughout the camp.
Head Coach Didi Dramani was equally impressed by the team’s response to the programme, noting that it met all intended objectives.
“We came here with a clear goal, which is to toughen the boys both physically and mentally. I’m proud to say the team responded positively, and we are pleased with the outcome,” Dramani stated.
With this special pre-season phase now completed, Hearts of Oak will shift preparations to their regular training base in Kpobiman as they finalise preparations for a league campaign in which they hope to return to title contention.
